This is a fortunate Annular Solar
Eclipse at 4 degrees Capricorn, when the Sun and Moon come together – a very
powerful time for formulating your goals for 2020 and beyond and leaving behind
those things that no longer support your growth.
This is an especially optimistic eclipse because it includes a conjunction to lucky and expansive, truth seeking Jupiter. Jupiter brings blessings and the trine to Uranus brings the sudden and unexpected. Look for happy and surprising good luck as well as epiphanies and positive changes
This eclipse is only visible from the
Eastern Hemisphere, from Saudi Arabia, India, Indonesia and other locations in
this part of the world. However, the effects are felt worldwide and will last about six months bringing opportunities for growth,
personal freedom, spiritual awareness and new and unusual experiences.
Truth continues
to be Told
Jupiter emphasizes truth and freedom.
In Capricorn, this relates to truth regarding the foundational institutions of
the world and freedom from tyranny of all sorts. With Sun, Moon, Jupiter,
Saturn and Pluto all in Capricorn, this is a serious time for these old underpinnings
of our existence. With Pluto (transformation) conjunct Saturn (lessons and
responsibility), look for more painful revelations in the institutional areas
of our lives including government, business, religion and media.
Jupiter, the great benefic, brings spiritual
insight and awakening as it connected to the powerful Galactic Center on
November 18. Jupiter stays connected to this power point until the end of
November, launching a period of personal growth for everyone on the planet. Look
for increased understanding and expansion of your spiritual knowledge.
This is a very strong time for
ushering more love into the world as Venus joins the Galactic Center on November
23. The
Sun follows on December 19 making this a personal experience, and Mercury joins
the Galactic Center on December 27, changing how we think. Finally, Mars will be
there on February 13, 2020, adding powerful energy to the mix.
This will be a time of great awakening for many and if you have a planet
within 5 degrees of this point, you will feel this more intensely.
We are heading toward the Full Moon on December 11 at 11:12
PM CST at 19 Gemini. The Moon is directly opposite the Sun in Sagittarius
making this a social and mental Full Moon, encouraging us to talk things out, gather
information, communicate and look at everything from multiple angles. With
Jupiter in Capricorn the emphasis is on responsibility and practicality.
With the triple conjunction of Saturn, Venus and Pluto in
Capricorn, we may be facing a crisis in relationships, values or finances at
this time. The Full Moon brings tension
between our personal and work lives. We may feel overwhelmed and directionless
due to the Moon and Sun square Neptune.
Capricorn asks: What really matters? What needs to be
corrected or discarded in your life? Look to Capricorn in your natal chart to
see how this Full Moon shines a light on your personal responsibilities and
priorities.
Jupiter is now at the intensely concentrated 29th
degree of Sagittarius. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter which brings expansion
wherever it goes. Sagittarius is loud, the entertainer, the lawyer, loves
foreign travel, accumulating higher knowledge and embarking on zealous spiritual
quests. Now at this intense 29th degree, you may be feeling the power
of Sagittarius, depending on where this lands in your chart.
Jupiter has been conjunct the Galactic Center (the center of
the Milky Way Galaxy) at 27 Sagittarius since
November 19th, ushering in higher cosmic knowledge to us
individually and to the world.
See where the Galactic Center resides in your natal chart at
27 Sagittarius to gain an understanding of how the current and upcoming important
aspects will bring opportunities to you. The Sun, Mercury and Mars will all
join the Galactic Center during the month of December.
Look back to 2006-2009 to get a sense of what began in your
life as a result of the Pluto conjunction to the Galactic Center, then consider
November 2017 when Saturn was at this important point to understand how this
energy may be cycling in your life.
Yesterday, November 12, 2019 we had a Full Moon at 19◦ Taurus opposite Mercury Retrograde, which had just transited the Sun on portentous 11/11/19! Not much sleep for me I have to say, but this impacted my natal chart exactly, so there is that.
The Full Moon, which is about completion, in Taurus urges us to find a safe haven, to focus on our home, family and close relationships while giving us the determination and persistence to get whatever needs doing done.
What secrets have been revealed?
Just two weeks ago, on October 27, the New Moon in Scorpio, began working with Uranus to exhume hidden secrets and bring them to the light of day. This has been glaringly obvious on the world stage and may have also been true for you personally as well.
Scorpio transforms people and situations by bringing up, sometimes painfully, all the hidden secrets and debris from the past, especially issues around sex, death and big power. Uranus is unpredictable and can shake things up in very unexpected ways.
Blessings and Energy for Transformation
The Full Moon brings us the workhorse Taurus energy to address how we can best take care of the debris that is left; what should we keep and what should we discard? There are several aspects going on with this Full Moon that bring added challenges and blessings. Although there may be communication challenges, our intuitive abilities and spiritual connections should be heightened for the near future. We are also given powerful energy for personal transformation and special blessings for success.
Mercury, which rules the mind and communication of all kinds, is in the middle of a three step journey to help us understand and gain mastery over our lives. This began on September 7 with the Sun conjunct Mercury in Virgo, launching the learning and releasing process. From September to November, you may gather knowledge so you can tune in to what your Soul is calling you to do. In January, this will all come together and you will have the power to initiate new endeavors.
Reviewing and Releasing
Mercury is currently retrograde in Scorpio (October 31 – November 20).This is the time to review, reconsider and reconnect with your past experiences and choices. Scorpio provides the cleansing power to dredge up and release deep seated issues, karma and pain associated with relationships, the power of others and with the past.
Transmuting
On November 11 Mercury will be conjunct the Sun in Scorpio. This will give you the power to see clearly what you have not seen before. You will be able to release and transmute what has been holding you back from mastering your life purpose.
Mercury transits the Sun only 13 to 14 times in a century creating an eclipse like energetic impact. Mercury passes directly in front of the Sun on November 11, the first transit since 2016. The Mercury Sun conjunctions in September, November and finally on January 11, give tremendous energy to this introspective and soul searching time.
Initiating New Endeavors
Look back to 2007 to see what was happening in your life at
that time. You may feel as though your plans and ideas were thwarted. It is
possible a similar cycle is occurring now and you will be able to recognize and
move past a recurring theme so that you are able to express yourself more fully
and authentically.
The New Moon on Sunday, October 27th portends
shocking and unexpected shake-ups. It will be in Scorpio directly opposing
Uranus.
Scorpio transforms people and situations by bringing up,
sometimes painfully, all the hidden secrets and debris from the past,
especially issues around sex, death and big power. Uranus is highly erratic and
unpredictable and can shake things up in very unexpected ways. With Uranus in
Taurus (earth), we could have some literal earth shaking events.
Expect chaotic and crazy behavior throughout society, from
top leaders to family members and friends. Be aware of the tendency for
aggressive response. This New Moon may intensify rebellions around the world. Unexpected
and shocking news, changes and events may occur.
Look for ways to stay centered and peaceful. Take time for
prayer and meditation. Maintain your balance and others will be positively
affected. Remember that chaos happens right before we achieve a breakthrough,
an epiphany and clarity.
The New Moon signals the end of one 28-day cycle and begins
a new one. It occurs when the Sun is conjunct the Moon, energizing and
invigorating the new start. The effects last about 4 weeks.
Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio from October 31 to November
20, so be prepared to reflect on what this heavy duty October has taught you.
This is a strong intuitive time and you can use this slower reflective energy
to meditate on the greater mysteries.
Are you feeling the intensity in the air? Do people seem out
of control and irrational? Are tempers flaring and has patience gone out the
window?
You can blame Pluto and Scorpio which are involved in the sometimes
painful transformation we are all experiencing. On a positive note, Scorpio brings focus and the
ability to work relentlessly to achieve a goal. Something you can take
advantage of this month. However, be aware that Scorpio can also be obsessive
and treacherous.
Pluto is about big power. It rules the powerful often hidden
puppet masters of the world. It also rules, among many other things, sexuality,
transformation, investigation, television, radioactivity, regeneration, treason,
terrorism and revolution.
This month, Mars in Libra squares the Nodes of the Moon (October
21, 2019), making this a time when we might feel more aggressive and explosive.
Libra emphasizes justice and legal activities. Expect to continue to hear
revelations of hidden criminality as this transformative energy unfolds.
Let go of fear, remember that Pluto brings necessary change to clear the way for positive new growth.
A Call for Compassion
The world’s North Node in Cancer is calling humanity to be
more loving and compassionate, to nurture rather than control and to operate
from the heart. The South Node in Capricorn reminds us we must take responsibility
for our actions and operate from a solid foundation.
We are now leaving the old controlling and domineering ways
of the past behind. This is a global call to all who live on this earth, to evolve
into a more heart centered way of being.
The Moon is almost full as I write this on October 10, 2019 and
it is beautiful in the night sky. It will be officially full this coming Sunday,
October 13 at 20◦ Aries and brings with it an array of challenging
aspects.
The fiery Get it Started strength of Aries makes this
a good time to set and act on your intentions. However, there are challenging
aspects to consider.
The Sun in legal and fair-minded Libra squares Pluto (the great revealer) in Capricorn (control, integrity, politics), brings turmoil. Hidden and possible criminal information can become known at this time. Pluto brings destruction, purging and release in order to pave the way for new and positive transformation. Pluto rules big power and the struggles between the people and governments.
Full Moon square Pluto can bring up emotional power
struggles, compulsive behavior, fears and violence. Venus in Scorpio is
opposite Uranus in Taurus, shaking things up and bringing emphasis to Pluto’s
actions and what we value.
Jupiter square Neptune causes us to be easily misled, either
by others or by our own delusional thinking.
Challenging squares to Saturn can result in delays and emphasizes taking
care of responsibilities.
All is not lost as positive aspects to beneficial Jupiter
soften the impact of this tumultuous energy.
At the Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are in exact opposition, exactly
180◦
apart. This brings matters ruled by the Moon to the forefront while creating
tension between those governed by both of these great lights. Matters ruled by
the Sun (power, work, ego, action) are in tension to those ruled by the Moon (nurturing,
home, intuition, emotion).
The effect of a Full Moon lasts about two weeks and intuition
and emotions are high. This particular Full Moon brings opportunities to heal
relationships.
When the Nodes of the Moon move into a new sign in the sky, society, governments, businesses and each individual is impacted on the globe.
The energy of the time changes and we are called as a people to aspire to a new direction.
Nodes in Cancer and Capricorn
The Nodes moved into Cancer and Capricorn on November 6, 2018, calling us to move away from the rigid and controlling all business Capricorn way of being to a more heart centered and nurturing Cancer approach.
We should incorporate all the wisdom of Capricorn to effectively express the more humanitarian and loving Cancer energy in the world. This calls us to care for each other, all living things and the Earth as a loving mother would.
Exactly how the nodal position of the time affects each individual
will depend on the location and aspects formed with the natal and
progressed charts.
Your Unique Path
In the Natal chart, the Nodes of the Moon hold a tremendous amount of
important information and guidance regarding your path in this life,
your challenges and your talents. The Nodes are calculated points
reflecting when the path of the Moon crosses the Sun’s path as they
travel in the heavens. They are always exactly opposite from one
another. You could study just these points to discover incredible
insights into your personal destiny.
South Node – Rahu – Head of the Dragon
The South Node represents what you have mastered in the past, what is
comfortable and easy, as well as the challenges and gifts brought from
previous lifetimes to help as you grow in a new direction. The house and
sign of the South Node will show where you may fall back and coast,
because it is sometimes scary to move in the new direction and after
all, you already know how to do the South Node stuff, and you can do it
well, so you may just do that and ignore the Soul’s yearning for the new
adventure.
Because the South Node talents have been mastered in the past, Rahu
can bring great achievement and success – often eventually resulting in
loss, forcing you to move in the new direction you were meant to follow
but were ignoring.
North Node – Ketu – Tail of the Dragon
The North Node represents your life’s goals, karmic path, the lessons
you are here to learn and the new energy you are urged to express and
master. Where Ketu resides will always be an area where you experience
feelings of lack or disappointment. This feeling of disappointment is
meant to encourage you to courageously take on the new way of being.
Push Pull of the Nodes
The Nodes do their work in your life by stirring up your ambitions
and at the same time pulling you towards spiritual transformation. The
Head of the Dragon provides the nourishment (talents, abilities, wisdom)
gathered from past experiences that feeds the Tail of the Dragon as you
move through your life. If you fail to go in the new direction, you
will feel the dissatisfaction at a very deep level.
